OpenTracker v2 is the first 100% Arduino compatible, fully open source, commercial grade GPS/GLONASS vehicle tracker development board that comes with a free web interface for tracking.
The OpenTracker v2 hardware includes the same powerful 32-bit ARM controller as the Arduino DUE, a GSM/GPRS modem for wireless connectivity, a GPS/GLONASS module with Assisted-GPS, CAN-BUS, plenty of I/O, and a wide operating temperature range of -35°C to +80°C.
Note: OpenTracker is EOL and is no longer available for purchase. Take a look at Polaris, its replacement. If you still need OpenTracker we can manufacture on-demand (minimum of 200pcs). Contact us for more information.
Data tracking right out of the box
The hardware is pre-programmed and able to send tracking data right out of the box; you will only need the SIM card and to register the device on our online tracking software.
After the configuration is complete, you will see your device on the map.
OpenTracker V2 Features
The default software includes many advanced features such as real-time tracking, geofencing, analog sensors, CAN bus, battery monitor, external commands, audio, SMS, and many others. It works right out of the box as vehicle tracker; the only requirement is a SIM card.
OpenTracker hardware features include quadband 2G or 3G modem for wireless connectivity, GPS/GLONASS receiver with Assisted-GPS, plenty of digital and analog I/O, CAN bus, USB, audio interface, expansion interface with SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, ADC.
Its extended temperature range (-35°C to +80°C) and voltage range (9V to 36V) makes it ideal for installation in vehicles, heavy machinery, industrial sites.
